If you follow us on our social channels, you’ll probably be aware that earlier this week, we hosted our very first #ExpertHour with our resident Pharmacist Hira Malik. We were so excited to have so many of you involved – and to have so many of your tweeting away with your skincare questions. 3 lucky bloggers also received a product specific fopr their skin type – so a special thanks goes to Jade Wimsey from GirlUpNorth, Hayley Walker from TeaPartyBeauty and to Daniella Joesphine from Famous in Japan for their fab questions! Take a look at some of the questions form our fabulous bloggers:

Q. There’s mixed advice about how often to wash your face. What’s the best daily skincare routine? – from @michellejg

Always be sure to have a deep cleanse at night and follow on with your morning routine by having a quick rinse to remove products from the night before.

Q. Are there any ingredient/product suggestions to help with bumpy skin on cheeks? - @TeaPartyBeauty

Sometimes chemical peels can help, try the Ole Henriksen Lemon Strip Flash Peel for instantly smooth and plumper skin.

Q. What’s the best way to combat an oily T-Zone? - @SarahTRADEMARK

Try applying the Murad Pore Reform T-Zone Pore Refining Serum after cleansing – it’ll help clear pores, as well as removing excess oil and dirt from the problematic T-Zone area.

Q. Are there any ingredients that I should avoid in products if I’m prone to breakouts? - @Girl_UpNorth

Try to avoid mineral oils and comedigenic where you can. Also try to avoid thick creams and use gels or serums. Ooh and be sure to cleanse!

Q. What sort of products would you recommend for dehydrated under eyes? - @OneLittleVoice

It’s also good to make sure you’re hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Try using the Strivectin Eye Serum for instantly refreshed eyes!

Q. I have fine lines under my eyes that make-up settles into, what’s the best product to help with this? - @whatlauraloves

Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer  is a must! It melts into the skin effortlessly and instantly blurs away fine lines!

Q. Any suggestions for oil free face suncreams with SPF 50? Most cause me to breakout! - @TeaPartyBeauty

Why not try a spray? It’ll be lighter on the skin but will still protect. Try the Ultrasun Sports Spray Formula - it's lightweight non-greasy formula is great for sensitive skins!

Q. I want to try a skin peel but I have very sensitive skin. What do you recommend? - @LizzieRAdams

Try the Sun Specialist SPF 40 High Protective Cream from Jurlique – it contains all natural ingredients and will keep your skin hydrated and intensely moisturised.

Q. What kind of cleanser would you recommend for combination skin with dehydrated patches? - @Girl_UpNorth

Be sure to try the new Micellar Oil from Decleor.  It works deeply into your pores to remove stubborn make-up and is suitable for all skin types.

Q. I suffer with eczema on my hands, are there any specific products/ingredients I should avoid?

Avoid products with alcohol in them as this will aggravate your skin. Always keep your hands moisturised too with a good moisturising hand cream.

A self-confessed skincare addict, I’m always on the search for new products to add to my collection! I believe there’s nothing quite as flattering as when your skin heralds a certain luminescence. I’ve recently qualified as a Beauty Therapist, so when I’m not writing about all things beauty, I love nothing more than pampering my friends & family!
